As far as i'm aware it's the same as CRS, if you haven't got the instructions e.mail Rob the malt miller.
as well as the CRS you can then adjust for calcium, at the moment I just use calcium chloride, although I should get some of Brewpaks DLS Dry Liquor Salts.
If you want to reduce calcium ( :wha: as to why you would want to really it's essential for good beer?) Then add some sodium phosphate and boil it. the calcium phosphate will precipitate (Probably as bone on your element :whistle: ) and then rack of the precipitate.
Thats ok its carbonate reducing solution on the bottle and it is to reduce alkilinity. My alkilinity here comes to 257 so need to add the required amount of crs depending on beer style
