Set a Caxtons real ale kit on the go today (plus a gallon of wine but that belongs in another section) was brewed with 1 Kg brewing sugar.

Used the full hop sachet and plan to dry hop the FV once the main fermentations over before kegging with some Bobek

About 20 grams ... as a first attempt at dry hopping a kit beer.

Any comments on this kit ...or dry hopping appreciated...

ive done a kit lager with a hop tea made from 50g of hallertu hops.. it made a great difference... :drink:

i boiled the water and steeped the hops for an hr [in the saucepan with tea towels insulating it] then added it the fv... :thumb:

Just finished kegging this today and a small taste shows promise...

Even though the dry hopping quantity wasn't particularly large, 20 grams bobek into the FV on day 4 it's definitely a nice addition.
