cider acidity

I've just brewed some cider with champagne yeast and its turned out at 8%

it tastes ok but it gives me massive hart burn.
i know its common with drinking cider but its literally after a couple of sips!

is there anyway to lower the acidity?
 
Time, time and more time!

Sorry but that is the answer with cider, patience is your friend, if you can bare to leave it, I find 12 months to be a good target, but leave it for a couple and try it, hopefully you will be able to see an improvement.
