Hi all I have just come home after helping a mates father rack 60 gls of Cider on leaving he offered me a copper boiler that came from a laundry it holds 80 gls and has a double gas ring for propain and 2 taps it is in first class condition but the down side it has been tined this was done some 40 years ago will it be any good for making beer

I don't see why not. The tinning is done so that the copper pan can be used for cooking so if its good enough for food then it must be good enough for beer right?

Don't quote me though I'm no expert.

Many thanks for information it will be collected next week I have been told that the burners are 9.5 kW and 6 kW this should provide a good rolling boil
