I have enjoyed a pint of Station Porter while on holiday, which is described and reviewed as..
Pours a generally clear ruby, small tan head. Aroma has some molasses, chocolate, roast. Taste continues with nice roast, bitter chocolate, gentle molasses. Good well rounded flavoursome porter.
Deep ruby body, tanned head. Malty and fairly sweet with caramel leanings leading the malty molasses in both the nose and taste.
I have tried a Wilco Chocolate Stout, although very good its's nowhere near the Porter.
Could any one suggest a kit that may be near the mark from the description given, It could be the "caramel leanings" is what I enjoyed?
Happy the modify a standard kit if required.
thanks in advance.
