Ready to bottle my first batch of home brew on the not it said store at between 18 and 21 degrees. Which it has been. On the thermometer that just turned up it says larger between 8 and 14 degrees?

If you're doing a lager kit then the kit will be supplied with a yeast (not a true lager yeast) that can work at the temperatures of 18 - 21 degrees, If you were to make a true lager then you would use a proper lager yeast that can ferment at lower temperatures as in 8 - 14 degrees. If you tried to ferment your kit at the lower temperatures then it wouldn't stand a chance.

So it's fine then as the yeast wont be a true lager yeast because it is a starter kit
