Just started this kit today. Was looking to see if anyone else made it.
It does have a lovely taste. Just as well other half out, they would be drinking it out the bucket.
Couldn't get the specific gravity above 1.054. My drill was not to hand for mixing it with the paster paddle - I jest - Plastic Spoon. By my calcs to get 6% at a Final gravity of 1.016, needs to start at about 1.064. I'm just assuming that the sugars are there, so it should come out alright.
