Clibit, I thought the same when I first watched it, it's a bit deep for newbie Brewers like myself. Before I started I found the three videos on YouTube by Craigtube brewing a coopers lager and they are what convinced me that I could actually brew. There's brewing, then bottling and what I feel is the most important, drinking the finished product. Here's the links:

I watched this a couple weeks ago when this was on tv and thought way too much involved especially after being part of this forum and being aware of easier guides and methods provided by other members. I can't remember there being much mentioned about fermenting and conditioning times, which I though a bit misleading.
