Hi All,
Put a wine kit on a week ago,had to guess the temp before I pitched the yeast as my thermometer has vanished, checked it today and the hydrometer i well in the red zone so looks like I may have guessed the temp wrong and killed the yeast?, so whats my best option,give it more time or slap more yeast in?
 
Putting more yeast in won't do any harm at all. Leaving it longer leaves it open to infection if it isn't already fermenting.
