I purchased some Britewort finings to help clear my beer. I believe the ingredient in Britewort is Carrageenan.
On the bottle it says add between ¼ and 1 tablet per 5 gallons (25 litres) of beer. I am brewing small biab batches, which produces approx 7-8 litres of beer at the end. How much Britewort should I include during the boil? I have read that too much finings can have an adverse effect.
