Its now a month since I made a brew with wild hops gathered from near my home. The bottles are "different" but superbly drinkable. While having a good background bittering the brew lacks hop aroma. This has had the happy effect of accentuating the rich malty flavour of the maris otter. I am really enjoying it and am considering reducing the amount of "commercial" hops I use to recreate the effect.
