Just got my copy, and I have to say, it's really great.

Works from the history of IPA and debunks some myths. Mitch spent time in Burton on Trent and London as part of his research and seems to have provided a really comprehensive guide to beer.

The term "IPA" is a bit loose these days, but let's just say that it covers hoppy beers. There's Thornbridge's Jaipur included amongst many other recipes too.

I also didn't realise how important Scotland was in the history of IPA, which is of interest to me as I'm a sweaty sock.

I heard him talk about his book on the Beersmith podcast.
He's a really interesting chap. If I remember correctly he's something like head brewer at Stone.
