Hi folks,

I just made an AG mexican lager using saflager W 34/70 and want to recover the yeast, I have added water and let settle but due to the trub being so light I can't decide where the yeast is??

Will the Lager yeast sit on top or below the trub?

I would guess the separation is just above the 500ml mark on the picture, could anyone with experience doing this could give me a pointer, I have done it with beer an was quite easy tell just not sure with this one.
