I am going to las Vegas tomorrow with 6 of my brothers friends for his 40th. Any places anyone can recommend visiting for a decent pint?

I was there in 2007 - I seem to recall that there weren't any 'pubs' as such. All the casinos have bars, and if you're gambling you get free drinks. even if you're sat at the 1c slot machines, they'll come and ask you if you want a drink, any drink, and it's free (though a $1 for waitress is usually expected).

I think that inside New York, New York there was a kind of 'authentic' bar, serving lagers and ales, but don't quote me on that. (Pour 24 at NY, NY appears on the google search below)

let me google that for you ... google "real ale pubs in Las Vegas"

first one from Trip Advisor
this from BeerAdvocate

so there is a 'pub' in The Venetian, but it looks like microbreweries are a taxi ride away, or in the old town centre.

Have fun!

You'll prob find that most places do bud, bud light, bud light lime and miller! The Mirage sports bar has Newcastle brown on tap in 32 oz glasses but theyre about 9/10 bucks each! Vegas is not one for its real ales I'm afraid!

there's an irish pub in the New york New york right in the middle of the gaming floor. also upstairs is the coyote ugly bar. never bothered going in them though so don't know what their like. loads of night clubs about the place in different hotels.
like everywhere las Vegas is struggling with the currant financial down turn but at weekends its bouncing.
hope you enjoy yourself and good luck if you like a bit gamble. its a fantastic place. :thumb:

Go to Ellis Island casino and brewery. I was there in 2008 and I got a brewery tour at 6am on a Sunday morning (jet lag meant I was up early). Also, it was only $1 a pint.

My wife and I go to Vegas every year for xmas. We found a few places worth visiting for beer tours. Ellis Island is great, then the Monte Carlo has a great pub with over 80 rotating taps, and Sin City Brewing Company in the Flamingo has a great pale.

As far as beers on tap in regular places you will find bud, miller, coors, corona, Sierra Nevada, Blue Moon. Those are pretty standard just about anywhere now a days.
