Hi,

Bottled my first Youngs APA brew kit yesterday and while the fermentation was precise in saying to ferment between 20-24 degress, for conditioning it just says put them somewhere warm and dark.

I have them in the utility room now which can vary between 17 - 19 degrees depending on outside temp and although dark it isnt completely dark. there's no direct light source, but a door with a window into the kitchen. On a sunny day there is just about enough light to read in there.

Any thoughts? Do I need to chuck a towel over the lot? Is the temperature ok?

Thanks,

Mark

I put mine in cardboard boxes in the bottom of the airing cupboard- nice and warm and protected from light.

The warm is to prime the bottle,I'd leave them for a couple of weeks. I would then put them somewhere cooler.
Mine get a couple of weeks in a cupboard then off to the remote, cryochamber (shed).
