I bought linthwaite light from brupaks and have a query about the kit.

I like a nice hoppy beer "hopping hare" being a favorite.

Under the basic instructions it says to add the hop bag to boiling water and after 15 mins add to the fv.

Under the advanced instructions it says you can cover the bag with boiling water then add the bag to the bulk. Then it says "best done in a secondary fermenter or dispensing barrel." but i intend to do the kit in one fv then bottle the beer. Am i ok to add the bag into the fv? Or am i best just doing the basic instructions?

Thanks for any advice.

P.s. This will be my second ever brew.

and what type of sugar should i add to the bottles when bottling? Last kit i did was everything in box kit and came with coopers carbonation drops. Would they be good for this beer?

Add the hops to the fermenter after about 7 days, then leave for a further 7 days.

You can use any sugar for bottling, or the Coopers carbonation drops.
