I have the opportunity of a few kilos of munich malt at a decent price.

How is it best used and is it good in bitters and pale ales?

replace 50 % of your grain bill to make a difference or even 100% of the base malt , it is slightly darker with a more malty taste than a standard base malt . Great for many styles .

It's great for a bit more malt depth. It's kind of biscuity, like digestives. I use it in nearly all my pale ales now. Or you could make a great Oktoberfest with a few kgs, if lager is your thing.
