Decided to brew for the first time in about 3 months this weekend and as the weather is favourable, decided to do a pilsner. Recipe as follows.

22ltrs Est final volume

1.5kg Pilsner malt
1kg Lager malt
1.1kg Pale malt
350g TW
35g Cara
100g Acid malt

Mashed at 63'c with a density of 2.7-1 for 80 mins, batched sparged twice at 78'c for 15mins

Hopped at the boil with Hallertauer Hersbrucker to 12EBU and boiled for 80mins

late hopped with 15g of Styrian Goldings and 16g of Hersbrucker

OG and final volume were spot on, 1.040. Estimated FG to be 1010. Pitched WLP802
