perry making advice ?????

is there any thing differnt about making perry as i have made cider so is it the same or is there any thing differnt :wha:

I haven't made perry myself as of yet but I would have thought it is a direct copy and paste of cider but you replace Apples or Apple Juice with Pears or Pear Juice.

in theroy you just use pears
however to get a true perry you need perry pears which thier are not that many of around

and pear cider is compleatly different from perry

I class Pear Cider as Cider with Pear flavouring.

Perry is fermented from Pears, Cider from Apples.
