Pickles in beer!!?.

I’m sat eating my tea, reading the news. Then I choked on the very splendid Singapore noodles I’m devouring because an article has just popped up on Apple News about the benefits of adding a pickle gherkin to beer to make it taste better!!!

This is from their ‘Golf’ channel (I don’t play golf, I have alert set up in News to show me beer stories), where it’s apparently acceptable to follow this practice to improve the flavour of beer.

I once (whilst celebrating lively) encouraged a number of people to do brine shots with me at a New Year's party, strange thing was none of us had a hangover the day after. Something to do with the salts and hydration .

I celebrated a little too much to remember if it had any benefit to taste.
