Hi all, any one help with this please.

Coopers European Lager used BKE. SG 1.038 FG 1.008 Left in fermentation bin for 13 days was very clear. Syphoned from well above sediment. Bottled in 2 litre pet bottles 4 heaped tea spoons of sugar. Been in bottles for 6 days at room temp of between 20c and 23c yet bottles are still quite squeezeable at the neck.

Could it be that i did not transfer enough yeast into the bottles.

Thanks in advance.

That is what I was going to say next 6 days is not enough. 1 week at fermentation temp ie 19-21c by which point you should have pressure, then somewhere cool for 1 week per 10 gravity points so 1038 will need another 4 weeks conditioning. The conditioning is very important as this is where the co2 is absorbed into the beer. :thumb: :thumb:
