Just kegged a hobgoblin clone and want it to have that nice creamy head you get.

Not sure I'm going to get that at 1.7 volumes of Co2, so can anybody give me any tips on how to achieve with the current setup?

Cornies / Standard SS Tap / CO2 only??

A CO2 and N2 mixed gas bottle will help, flaked barley in the mash also. The stout I'm currently going thru has an ale suremix CO2/N2 mix though its a 30/70 mix so low carbonation but creamy head, pure CO2 will likely lead to longer lasting head retention but unlikely to have any creaminess to it.

Poured my first pint and 0 head.

Did the syrunge trick and nice creamy head.

Do I really need a creamer tap?
Can the nitro ones be used with pure co2 @ 6psi??

Blagged it with my standard tap and 6psi co2.
