Shelf life of CT's, pottasium sorbate etc

Hi Peeps

I have a number of bags and jars of CT's, citric acid, potassium sorbate etc that came in a large box of home brew paraphernalia aquired through freecycle. There is no best before date on the bags or jars but they do look very old, is it best to be cautious and buy these additives new or can I crack on and use them?

Hi danny, all of the things you mentioned now carry ‘best before’ dates, and probably have done for quite some time.

I would chuck them, they are all cheap enough.
