Hi All,

I've been merrily reading up on building my own mash tun / boil kettle (going single vessel BIAB initially). I want to be able to brew 25-30L final volume.

I'm trying to decide on a couple of things.

1. Should I go for a Buffalo 40L water boiler, drilling out and fit a temperature gauge and pipe to counter flow chiller.

or

2. Buy something like this (56 L SS pot) http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/acatalog/Stainless-Steel-56-Ltr-Electric-Boiler.html#.VZ6djmAqnbk and then buy a PID/SSR to control the element temperate?

If (2) then would this be ok: REX-C100 ? or should I fork out for Sestos Digital Temp Controller D1S-VR-220 plus PT100 Probe plus SSR plus Heat Sink ?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Andy
