Does it take the exact same time to say, ferment 1l of apple juice to 5%ABV, than it does to ferment 100l of apple juice to 5%ABV? :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:
 
I'd assume that if you up your yeast ratio by the same amount that it would.

Breweries ferment out huge volumes very quickly but they lob in yeast by the brick load.
 
My lager had 125g of yeast in 80L fermented out in 7 days at 10C. . . . Oh I buy dried yeast by the 500g brick ;)
