Hi all, I have a BrewMonk Magnus system and ordered a whirlpool arm for it.
Although is looks well made, it's useless.
It is made to use on both the normal BM and the Magnus, however it hardly gets below the liquid level once brewing is finished.
I was thinking of buying a camlock fitting which goes to 1/2"BSP and then making my own whirlpool arm converting to 10mm copper to increase velocity.
My question is, where in the vessel would be the best place for it to reach, middle or bottom of the vessel for best results?

The brewzilla one it goes right to the bottom and seems to work pretty well. Its not a vigorous whirlpool action like you might get if you stirred manually or with a drill attachment, but it gathers up the hops into a nice cone and generates a gentle whirlpool just fine.
