yeast for coopers ginger beer

I started a kit yesterday afternoon, pitched at 22c, and so far no action......


what yeast would you suggest as a suitable alternative assuming this is dead?

planning on shopping tomorrow....

I have noticed that often these take a day or two to really get going, a friend started one wed last week and no action till friday. A simple ale yeast would probably be fine but give it another day or so, did you take a Hydro reading before pitching yeast? Take another reading tomorow if its dropped then you may just have a quiet ferment, its not always fireworks. RDWHAHB.

I wouldn't have thought the yeast would matter that much. Something cheap, Gervin GV 12? Suggest you try some nutrient too.
