Hi all! Was in a local shop earlier and seen they have shamrock velvet stout kits in for £11.00. Really want to brew a stout. Was thinking I could get the kit plus some grains etc. Anyone tried this kit? Is it reasonable or worth it at all? Cheers

Hi, Stupid question I imagine. I was going to do a brew today but I've just noticed the bag I was going to use to mash the malts in, the holes are slightly too big. Will some of the tiny malt grain bits ruin fermentation? Cheers

Hi all, I am looking to moving onto AG brewing in the near future and I would like to add to my set up a little with a boiler. I've seen a Brupak electric boiler (2000w) in my local homebrew shop. Anyone know anything about this boiler, is it any good etc etc. Cheers!

Hi, was making a brew and all went ok (or so I thought) and in it went into the FV and it bubbled away for 2 days and hasn't done much since. I opened it up a few minutes ago and this is what I saw. Can anyone help with what's wrong or even if it's ok?? Cheers

Hi all, I currently have an IPA in the FV and in about a week I'll need to transfer over to my pressure barrel. Problem is I don't have any more sanitising products left for my barrel and siphon! Is another way I can do it like a weak bleach etc? Cheers
