Wheezy I dry sprinkled with youngs dry yeast and nutrient. Shook it a bit and it went off well about 18 hours later.

I am starting to wonder if boiling the juice really matters so with this weather you could just add together and wack the yeast in. Mine is bubbling away now thank god. I didn't do the yeast like the original poster said I just added a tea spoon to top of brew rather than mixing with water etc.

Started a tropical one last night. So hard to get temp to 25 with this heat were having but hope all is well. No bubble activity this morning which I usually get with other brews but foam appearing so hope it will kick off soon

Ha ha there will be for sure. I am yet to try my strawberry Tc it should be ready this weekend but I was pretty drunk Saturday from my keg cider of around 6% so a bit scared now lol

If you like more of a sweet cider it would be 2 tea spoons per 500ml bottle. Plus the 1 spoon of sugar for carbing it.

I done one with strawberry Ribena it fully fermented down to 1000. I can tell you if yours does the same you will be looking at around 10% so not a session drink for sure. Just bare in mind when bottling this will be very very dry so sweetener is a must

Yeah I have now got an old dust sheet and covered my shelf in the cupboard with that for any future occurrences. The brew was still going wild until this morning so just cleaned the airlock again with boiling water and refilled. Now it is bubbling well just not spitting bubbles at me lol

This does look nice basically a alcoholic cordial. After my Tc foaming the airlock like mad I am a bit suspect of the 2 inch room to leave from top though as very initial posting suggested. Defo worth a bash though

I am new to brewing and assumed as the foam was very thick and powdery that was the yeast coming out also. Wine yeast was more gentle so never had this before. Will know next time to fill even less and just top up once it calms a bit.

What about bottles chippy I like the idea of just being able to submerge each for 30 seconds and just rinsing would this work with Milton? The other day I filled all 8 bottles which wasn't too bad but to do 48 would be a pain

Yeah Milton seems ok but is not a contact solution is it? Therefore a 23l bin has to be fully filled hence a lot of water waste in my eyes. Unless I'm wrong on that

Ha ha quite a kick? You trying to bring down elephants? In your previous batches do you actually taste the raspberry? I have read many claiming they have almost replicated kopperberg etc but am always suspect. Guess my Tc will be the test once done lol
