Amazon back orders

I've just had an email from Amazon about a status update about an order I'd placed... there I was thinking that I'd forgotten to give someone a Christmas present, but to my surprise it wasn't.

It turns out that way-back-when in April 2011 I placed an order for the new Graham Wheeler homebrew book, and now 20 months later it looks like it may be getting sent out. I'd have thought Amazon would have given up on this order months ago!

... I wonder if it will really arive this year?

Ah well - I wont hold my breath then.

Looking at it, there's conflicting information on Amazon's site - so they dont really know what's going on. One one line they say that the book was published on the 31st of December, then on another they say its not yet released. The order status says that it should have been sent yesterday. May as well just forget I ever ordered it :whistle:
