Took the kids on a santa express last year, it had being snowing that was good but it was the end of November. Going again this year but leaving it till closer to Christmas.

Still hate Christmas though.

I like the idea but am also against the commercialisation. This year my sister and me agreed to have a homemade Christmas all pressies will be made by us and by hand :thumb:

My ideal for the festivities would be a cottage in the middle of nowhere with a bottle of malt a selection my beers some nice food and a log fire. Just shut the door and hibinate. I used to do that but it was a mobile home and it was new year and no log fire.

get a job as a paramedic like me and you too will get to miss it most years and get to deal lots of people who have had too much festive cheer

In light of my lack of festive spirit I have changed my avatar to try and get me into the spirit.

Having spent 9 years working a security in a shopping centre where they put the decs up in October Christmas has been completely ruined for me

•"External heat and cold had little influence on Scrooge. No warmth could warm, no wintry weather chill him. No wind that blew was bitterer than he, no falling snow was more intent upon its purpose, no pelting rain less open to entreaty."
- A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens
