Is it possible to buy home brew kits in france? I am going there on saturday and wondered if there is a similar beer loving community over there and whether or not there are french equivalents to our home brew kit?! Do there wilkinson type stores have a similar section dedicated to beverage making in the home?

Thanks for any replies!

Interesting question. I visit France from time to time but I haven't been brewing for long so I've not noticed any home brew shops over there, though looking online I found http://www.lebonplan.fr/index.php?page=43 which only offers kits you can get in the UK. Not very promising!

My treat when visiting Calais is to drive over to Belgium and visit the AD Delhaize supermarket on the N34 at Adinkerke... just after Plopsaland. There are some great beers to try in there! I usually get a bit giddy and end up with a trolley full... even taking one bottle of each you could have fifty or so.
