Probably about time I introduced myself.
I started brewing with a kit I got for my birthday in September, though it was something I'd been thinking & reading about for a while. I've now done 6 all-grain brews and been very happy with the results so far.
I'm mainly working from a couple of Graham Wheelers' books, particular "Brew your own British ale" but I'm also looking at other recipes. My last brew was a wheat beer, which scared me a bit because the specialist yeast took a whole day before there was any sign of any fermentation.
I've converted an old camping fridge/ plug-in coolbox to a mash tun and I'm boiling on the kitchen hob. Our utility room is a steady 20 degrees most of the year so it's perfect for fermenting.
Look forward to talking more with you folks.
