Hi all, doing an AG brew tomorrow and have high colour crystal malt (200) that i should use, what affect will this have on colour of finished beer,and or any affect on taste,as iv'e only got brewmate on my pc it does not show crystal of this colour.

Ah, some of the free programs use the lovibond scale for crystal malts, ie 20L is light and 120L is dark. Our high colour is close to 80L on that scale, thought you may have it on there.

To answer, it'll add a deep toffee taste, bit roasty, sorta edging towards mild coffee flavours. It's nice in a bitter, will also darken it considerably. Maybe just go for it :p
