How long do grains last?

Bought quite a bit of pilsner malt and maris otter.

How long will they be good for?

Unopened in the bags!

Depends if its been milled or not i guess. If its milled, maybe a few months if kept airtight. If not, up to a year. Can't say for certain, I'm just speculating based on the growing seasons for barley and I'm sure better informed people will correct me but it stands to reason that its harvested in the autumn so has to last a year. Its a fairly stable grain if kept dry.
