Hi,

if someone wants to get the original German yeast - I have just found the English website version of the yeast bank of 'Weihenstephaner Brauerei'. There are also informations about sale and shipment :thumb:

Unfortunately I'm new here and it takes some posts until I can publish links. Therefore please get in touch with me via private message (PM).

Kind regards,
Norbert
Pm sent , thanks . :D

Dear brewing colleagues,

it has been a long time being absent but now I'm back.

Regarding wheat yeast I have made some interesting experiences with dry yeast. Please have a look at http://www.malzwerkstatt.de/. Unfortunately there is no Englisj version of the website. Nevertheless if there is remarkable interest I can translate the data sheets into English. I have tried the wheat yeasts 'König Ludwig' and 'Wheat n' fruity' - both are excellent. 'König Ludwig' is the original yeast from http://www.koenig-ludwig-brauerei.com/index.php, a famous wheat beer from Bavaria. Please check with Mr. Michael Albrecht (eMail: [email protected]). Probably you can order in English, otherwise let me know. The prices are reasonable: € 2,50 each 10 g pack add. € 2,50 for shipping (in Germany, but shouldn't be more expensive to UK). The best: for the shipping fee you can get as much packages as you want. This was my last information, but please get it confirmed by Mr. Albrecht in advance ...

Cheers,
Norbert
