keeping barrels cool

whats the best way to keep plastic kegs cool,is there owt on the market that can be put in the freezer then wrapped round the keg,?I'm sure you will all agree warm beer is terrible.

There's a freezer jacket I've seen an add for it, but don't know the cost. What's wrong with putting your barrel into a bowl of water with ice packs in.

A wet towel with a fan helps a bit.

We've just had a BBQ session, got one of those plastic gardening trugs half filled it with water and put the bottles of ale in it & few lumps of ice and kept adding more bottles as required, everyone seemed fairly happy ......... or reasonably ****** :drunk:

If you've got something like a trug you could do the same with your keg :thumb:
