Now I have a brew fridge, am I right in thinking I can make lager (that is, with an actual lager yeast)?

Are there any decent kits? I suppose I'm not too bothered what it's like as I don't really like lager that much, I'll only be doing this for fun/experience.

And what do I do differently? I assume I ignore the kit instructions, but then what?

Any suggestions please.

There are lots of lager kits where ale yeast is included :nono:
Coopers European Lager is the only one i can think of, that actually uses lager yeast. There are probably more, but i'm not into the lager style of brewing...

If i were you, i would ignore what yeast is included, and buy a separate pack of yeast with the kit. It tends to both taste and work better!

Edit: Or just drop the kit, and go for two cans of light liquid malt extract, pack of lager yeast and saaz hops. At least this way, you can actually brew a lager with some flavor!
