splenda

hi can anyone tell me if using granulated sweetener is the same as splenda.just as I got sweetener in cupboard

Essentially yes, though they all have different taste profiles. Check what yours is made of. Aspartame is quite likely, it's got a metallic-bitter aftertaste which I wouldn't imagine you'd want in a brew of any sort. Splenda has a more natural sugar like taste.

Though I may be biased as I used to advertise Splenda in my old job, hence knowing more than I care to about artificial sweeteners.

hi.its a Tesco's own.just say's its sucralose based table top sweetener

Then its the same active ingredient as splenda so yes should be fine
