So what would labour do tomorrow to change the downwards spiral this county is in, everyone posts about the conservative party shortcomings how do the same people think labour are going to fix this.
It might not be "fixable" in the short term and undoing a decade of Tory mismanagement might be more than an overnight job. What Labour would do is bring a standard of decency to the table, then we might hope for some competence and even a splash of vision. It would be nice to have a government for a change, in place of a bunch of school tie cronies looking out for nothing but their own interests.

I wonder how many of the ones that couldn't wait to see the back of Boris are now regretting his departure.

I'd imagine that still be happy the charlatan was punted, but rather ****** off that their choice of replacement wasn't voted in by party members. It doesn't say much for Tory Party members' judgement that they thought Liz Truss was their best option.

Whilst normally I try to see the funny side of things. My sense of humor has deserted me in this case..

An AWFUL lot of people are going to suffer real hardship this winter with not even a glimmer of light on the horizon.

Hard work is all "fine and dandy",IF one is actually capable of it.
Further onerous restrictions on an already brutal UC system ( as proposed in the mini-budget.) are just punishment for pleasure.

The huge rise in interest rates is going to cripple an awful lot of people. Lots of defaulting coming. One could accept that if it was the result of some unavoidable catastrophe, but not when it has been caused by feckless policy-making.

I don't have a massive mortgage (relatively-speaking) but we could be looking at a £400-£600 increase per month when we come to remortgage at the end of next year.

They have ****** up hugely. You have to laugh when you hear people on the radio trying to defend them, and saying stupid **** like "they've only been in for 3 weeks, we need to give them a chance", and "The pound is back up." We badly need to get away from this nonsense of the media giving equal weight and deference to opinion and fact. It's a big part of how we've ended up in this mess.

100%, they will bankrupt everyone.

Whilst I feel fortunate that I have some time left on my fixed rate, like everyone else, face the prospect of 4-600 pounds uplift in interest when that runs out, It is not like we as the public have that much spare cash everymonth. They will bring the whole country to poverty and hollow out the economy. It is caused by policy-making.

the world economic situation is grim, but there are tough ways to go about it and senseless setting fire to your country ways to approach it.

I don't have a mortgage so this may be a daft question, couldn't they add the extra to the end so you pay the same as you do now but for a bit longer?

Yes you can, so basically don't retire. Work until you drop, plus if you have the misfortune to require care they sell your home to pay for it.
Great times ahead

No guarantee that rates go down either.
