Hello all. Had a citra milkshake from tiny rebel last weekend and it's stuck in my head. Gonna try @Leon103 recipe as a foundation for the next brew, but then I got thinking about the upcoming Christmas period. I don't like stout or heavy beers, more a pale ale/ipa drinker, so which flavours might work with this base malts?

Possible, or just something a bit different. Thought caramel, cinnamon, or nutmeg would go well as a milkshake, but unsure about the base malts with those.

milkshake IPAs are my fav at the mo, Tiny rebel do a few bangers. Their Strawberries and cream ale was one of the best beers ive had and my only 5 on Untapped (though I was a few in and feeling the affects of an afternoon of the beers in Hackney) but its not available in cans or bottles so you should look out for their Peach's and Cream IPA. Eventually when ive done a few more brews I wanna attempt an milkshake IPA with Peaches and Raspberries

Any of these type beers available in a can or bottle?
Just reminds me...occy health nurse in work set up a smoothie maker with a load of fruit in the canteen and was asking the shop floor lads if they'd prefer a fruit smoothie for breakfast instead of the usual fry up...a chap on the rather large side replied he'd try one...she looked quite suprised and had asked the variety...reply...sausage and black pudding!

Wasn't a big fan on the peaches and cream. I like them without fruit, getting the fruit flavours from the hops.

Thornbridge do a strawberry one that is nice and is available in Tesco
