I emailed Young's last night before posting, they have been very quick to respond this morning and agree that something is not correct and are sending me a replacement kit, so can't fault them for their Customer Service, in the meantime I have very interesting flavoured beer to consume o_O

Had a little sample last night and it's spot on, tastes just as I would expect it to, very clear, carbonated well and is refreshing, the only negative part is head retention but for a kit that costs less than a tenner it's a winner.
