    filtering when pouring bottles?

I've just finished conditioning an ipa (bru pak linthwaite light). And its mostly cleared but there seems to be a few clumps floating in the beer itself. I assume these are clumps of yeast. Has this happened because i didn't leave it in primary long enough? I basically waited for a week got two...

Coopers lager kit with added hops?

I have just made my first homebrew which was a coopers lager kit. This is not a true lager and tastes more like a light beer to me. I like hoppy beers like hopping hare. If i did the same kit again but added some hops into the mix would this turn out ok?

linthwaite light kit hop bag instructions?

I bought linthwaite light from brupaks and have a query about the kit. I like a nice hoppy beer "hopping hare" being a favorite. Under the basic instructions it says to add the hop bag to boiling water and after 15 mins add to the fv. Under the advanced instructions it says you can cover the...

    2nd ever brew. Best ipa?

My first brew is just about to be bottled and i'm about to start my second brew. I fancy doing an ipa kit. I want to keep it simple for the time being and was thinking about using the coopers ipa kit as my last kit was coopers and was very easy. Has anyone had good results from this kit and/or...

    Moving bottled beer?

thanks. i'm brewing a coopers diy lager kit at the moment so unsure of the type of yeast. I'm going to try an ipa kit next, which i imagine will come with yeast. If i intend to transport this for a family holiday would i be better getting rid of the yeast in the kit and using a different one...
