So as top for doing a job today,i was given a can of Fosters lager ..spiced with Rum.
My wife has decided this is the best thing since an Apple &Mango Wow..
Has anyone made similar.? Can it be done if so,how?
Can you point me in the direction of a recipe?

I once made a rum porter flavoured with oak chips and captain morgans. I added the rum along with the priming solution just before bottling. I can't remember the exact dosage of rum off hand but it was something like 50ml per litre.

Not bad, could have used a bit more oak flavour and I'd probably use a dark rum next time, maybe something like kraken. I had a slight oxidation issue which tainted it a little unfortunately.

Yeah I've tried it, common in a few restaurants in city center, they seem to sell it insted of plain Fosters.

Also had a cider with rum in it, and another with whiskey. Both were very nice.
