Yeah,
Whatever suits....
I used to have a 'job' doing the same. Once delivered a posh new Saab to Glasgow from Yorkshire. The receiving owner then ran me to the station to catch the overnight train to Southampton where I picked up a Porsche 911 and drove back to Yorkshire.
And they paid me !

I know what you mean , I used to work in the Pharma industry where everything is heavily regulated as you would expect we used to have Audits from FDA, MHRA, Brazil, Japan, Korea etc and it was constant stress trying to keep everything bang on.

FDA were the worst as they are not chemists but actual Federal inspectors who assume from the start that you have made mistakes and are trying to cheat them. If something is not written then it has not happened and they drill down and down until someone says the wrong thing than they have you on the hook

I had the opportunity to apply to my old site (different company) and decided I was well off out of it after 18 months, something a bit easier maybe!

health care is the same . I had a flying visit from the CARE QUALITY COMMISSION who so annoyed me I gave my keys to the morphine cupboard to the fat bird and told her to do the job herself if she was so effin clever. I walked out.

I find traffic stressful. I used to enjoy driving until I got a job that involved a minimum of 2 hours a day commuting and usually 2 1/2 hours. Travelling the same journey outside of rush hour took about 1 1/2 hours for a round trip and the rest was traffic and stupid slow drivers holing everyone up. On the way home the last approx 5 miles took the same time as the first 25. Cant cope with traffic any more, hence my previous comments on this forum about getting a motorbike.

Im in the process of starting a new job as well, s a mortgage adviser.

I feel exactly the same.... but only if it's my vehicle, in my time and at my expense. Take away those parameters and I'd be as happy as Larry, whoever he is. I've got a motorbike and take full advantage of it's ability to make mincemeat of other traffic. Feels great to filter through a mile-long snarl-up, up to the head of the queue and watch the gnashing and seething of every car driver you pass!

Not great is it. Great pub on Platform 1B sheffield Station tho

And folk wonder why I'm grumpy and mad all the time. It does that to one in the end. Only consolation is that great countryside is only a stone's throw away - god's consolation for making us endure this misery on a daily basis.
