Calculating sodium - is it possible?

So.. I received a water report from Murphy & Son, but it doesn't provide an amount for sodium. Is it possible to calculate the sodium from the other values? These are:
Ca 15.12ppm, Mg 2.24ppm, SO4 11.24ppm, Cl 20.5ppm and HCO3 53.68ppm.
I'm guessing not.. Does anyone know of a lab that does provide the sodium value? Thanks in advance!

Get the report from your local water authority. It won't be as accurate as the analysis by M&S, but it is arguably not a very important figure to have when talking about normal tap water.

I don't think it's possible to calculate but judging from your other values I'd guess it's very low.
As stz says though, it's not usually that important. I would add a little sodium to dark beers sometimes but I usually don't worry about adjusting it.

You can get a report from Neil at Phoenix Analytical ([email protected]). My understanding is that he's largely retired now but still does analyses about once a month. His report covers:
Sodium
Potassium
Magnesium
Calcium
Chloride
Nitrate
Phosphate
Sulphate
Total alkalinity expressed as calcium carbonate
pH
electrical conductivity
total residual chlorine

I used brew n water and it always said my water was unbalanced but I was missing sodium, so just used my local water suppier's report. When I got the report from phoenix analytical everything suddenly lined up.
