If by 'keg' you mean a corny type set up then you can put the AIPA in it and carb up to the right level for the beer style, as for bottles, But if you mean a plastic PB they are are only really suitable for low carb beers like ales and stouts due to the pressure limitation on these items. And if you ferment at 21/22*C this kit is known to be quite 'effervescent'during the early part of the primary, and may want to escape the FV so you need to think about a blow off tube (look it up on here). The first time I did this kit some time ago it did exactly that.

Tbh thought a plastic keg would be ok, just shows how little I know. Good job you are here @terrym, will get some more bottles and bottle the lot, looks nicer anyway

I didn't do the kit when I went away to work, I waited till I got home again and started it off. Bottled it up yesterday @dwhite60

Right, update time. I've just arrived home from 3 weeks away at work and opened my first bottle of American IPA and I would like to sincerely thank those who suggested I brewed this baby. YUM!! What a lovely, hoppy, beer this is, exactly what I wanted. Can't wait to neck the remaining 39bottles. And obviously buy another kit ha ha. Thanks again

Awesome! Glad it turned out.
What temp did you end up fermenting at?

Just whatever the room temp of the kitchen, so it would of fluctuated depending on time of day and whether we were cooking. But whatever it was it worked well ha ha

Thanks, I will have a look for them and give them a go. I'm still in shock over how nice this beer tasted. Last time I had home brew was about 30years ago when my Dad make some, it was disgusting. Kits have obviously come a long way đź‘Ť
