We've been to our secret damson tree and picked 12 lbs. OH needs about 4lbs for jam, that will leave me 8lbs for wine. Next to the tree was a large rose full of hips. So we picked 2 lbs of those.

Not been around a lot over the last 5 months, the allotment we took on back in March as taken most of our weekends up. Because of w**k we only have either Sat or Sun to do all that's needed on it, so no time to brew anything....well that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :whistle...

I use a digital set of scales for hops, Irish moss, as trying to get 5 grams or 10 grams of something with the swmbos Salters in the kitchen is a nightmare as she uses the old type of weights. Now the last time I brewed just after Chimbo my scales went t*ts up, the batteries needed replacing so...
