    not sure if this is a daft question. i know stabiliser is used to prevent a refermentation if sweetening wine after its fermented.... but can it also halt a ferment in progress. cheers

    cloudy juice

    in a rush in tesco. bought 2 litres of cawston press apple and rhubard cloudy juice also tesco pure apple. will i be able to clear this one with pectolase and later finings. also my sg was around 980 so i added more sugar until my hydrometer 1.100. was this the right thing to do.

    turbo yeast

    i was given a packet of turbo yeast 4.75 ozs of it. is it any good? how much do i use for a gallon? do i use nutrient with it? any other tips for using it. the instructions on the packet are a little vague. any comments will be appreciated. many thanks muggy

    help im lost

    tried posting before but cant find it. my problem is my demijohn is around half a pint short of my rhubarb wine. it says in the wine making book that it should be full to the top. will this shortage affect the wine? also its a little cloudy, can i clear it? many thanks muggy
