A Russian Imperial Stout from Love Brewing. 9% Abv and has been conditioning for around 12 weeks.

I now use Milton Sterilising Fluid. Leave it for 15 mins then rinse. Cost around £2.50 a litre. Only a cap full required for 5 litres, a little less hassle than mucking about with granules.

Yeah, IPAs are usually my go to also

Use bottles, will keep 20 or so for crimbo hopefully!

Have gone for Beerworks Russian Imperial Stout for Xmas. Fermented like a rocket launcher and finished at 8.5%. Been in the bottle for nearly a week. A pricey kit at £38 but worth it I hope.

Really' that's expensive. Mine turned out fine. I usually do a Solomon Grundy. Around 33 quid

I use Solomon Grundy platinum, these are better imo that Cellar 7 but no as good as Beaverdale

The Beaverdale Merlot is good, improves with age. I started of with Cellar 7 making whites, changed to Solomon Grundy and i find these much better, the roughly cost the same, around £32.
